Anne McIlwain joined HammondTownsend in August 2026. She brings a diverse legal background with experience in workers’ compensation on both the claimant and defense sides, providing her with a well-rounded understanding of the claims process and litigation strategies. In addition to her workers’ compensation experience, Anne has worked in family law and criminal law. She holds an associate’s degree in paralegal studies and is dedicated to providing knowledgeable and effective support to clients and attorneys alike.

Madison Revis joined HammondTownsend July 2025 and is based in our Roanoke office. Having received her B.S. in criminal justice (College of Humanities & Behavioral Science) from Radford University and her B.A. in Criminology (Major), Communication Studies (Minor) & Law & Legal Studies (Minor) from WVU, Madison comes with a wealth of experience in a medical office setting. Known for her passion to help others and make a positive impact in the legal field, Madison’s goal is to utilize her degrees, passion, and attention to detail to make a difference in the lives of those we represent.

Jason joined HammondTownsend in 2018 as a paralegal in the Manassas office. Jason comes to us with a wealth of experience. He has worked as a paralegal since 2001.

Melissa Howell is a Workers’ Comp Paralegal in the Harrisonburg office. She has been in the workers’ comp field since 2005 and has been with HammondTownsend since 2013. She is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association for Paralegals, a Virginia Notary and has participated in workers’ comp seminars and training sessions.
