Melissa Howell is a Workers’ Comp Paralegal in the Harrisonburg office. She has been in the workers’ comp field since 2005 and has been with HammondTownsend since 2013. She is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association for Paralegals, a Virginia Notary and has participated in workers’ comp seminars and training sessions.

Jennifer is a Paralegal in our Roanoke office. She comes to us from another law firm in North Carolina, where she was a legal assistant and receptionist. Jennifer attended Campbell University and plans on completing her studies. She is a notary for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Jennifer is also bilingual and assists with translation and interpretation.

Sam recently joined our firm in June 2024 as a paralegal in our Fishersville office. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Liberty University. He is bilingual in American Sign Language (ASL) and looks forward to working with any Deaf clients.
