Claytor v. McKee Foods Corporation

Case Details

In February 2010, our client sustained a right shoulder injury while working for his employer. Despite the fact that multiple awards have been entered for both medical treatment and lost wages, the parties all agreed that a full and final lump sum settlement would be in the best interest of the client.

Results

Thorough preparation allowed our firm to secure $155,000.00 for this client with $25,000 to be placed in a Medicare set-aside account for future treatment of his injury. Additionally, Hammond-Townsend secured payment for all related past and present medical treatment through the date that the settlement documents were approved by the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission.
