Jason A. Mullins (Lawyer)

Bio

Raised in the coalfields of Southwest Virginia, Jason has a passion for helping injured workers navigate the complex workers’ compensation system.  The descendant of a long line of Virginia coal miners, Jason has personally witnessed the effects on-the-job injuries and occupational diseases can have on individuals, as well as their families.

In addition to representing people who have sustained injuries at work, Jason has significant experience with occupational disease cases.  He has helped hundreds of individuals obtain compensation for coal workers’ pneumoconiosis (Black Lung), silicosis (Rock Dust), and hearing loss.

Since his graduation from the William & Mary School of Law in 2009, Jason’s career has been dedicated to the practice of Virginia workers’ compensation law.

Having joined the HammondTownsend team in 2017, Jason is excited to continue his fight for the rights of injured workers as part of one of Virginia’s premier workers’ compensation law firms.

Outside of the office, Jason enjoys spending his time with his three children and his wife, Vanessa.
